Jan 15, 2009 · But when I plug it into my new PC, Sony vgc-rt1su, I get a message saying the local area connection has a invalid IP address. I can get a wireless connection OK from the Sony upstairs to the wireless router downstarirs, but the signal is poor, which is why I went to the powerline approach.
